Our Colorado Non-Profit Organization

Sand Creek Regional Greenway Partnership, Inc., is a Colorado non-profit corporation created by the cities of Aurora, Commerce City, Denver, and the non-profit Stapleton Development Corporation, to manage development of Sand Creek Regional Greenway.

Our Mission

To be the driving force that brings together Aurora, Commerce City, Denver and the Stapleton Development Corporation to manage the development, operation and use of the nearly 14 -mile Sand Creek Regional Greenway that links the High Line Canal to the Platte River Greenway.

Our Partnership

Sand Creek Regional Greenway Partnership is committed to being a national model of a successful partnership in which many people have ownership and enthusiasm. Our organization has two major foci: 1) ensuring the Sand Creek Regional Greenway is developed as a regional resource in accordance with the vision in the Sand Creek Regional Greenway Master Plan and 2) providing leadership in raising the funds necessary to complete the Greenway.

Sand Creek Regional Greenway Partnership is governed by a volunteer board of directors comprised of individuals from the three partner cities with a broad range of experience and interest.
