This drawing gives you an idea of how Sand Creek Regional Greenway connects the High Line Canal and the Platte River Greenway, making a 50-mile loop of off-street trails throughout the metro-Denver area.

To connect with the High Line Canal Bikeway you can either:

Ride on the south shoulder of Colfax about 1/4 mile between the end of the Sand Creek trail and the High Line trail

Or ride on the sidewalk on Airport Blvd between the High Line trail and the Airport Blvd access to the Sand Creek trail.

The Sand Creek Greenway connects with the Platte River Greenway at the confluence of Sand Creek and the South Platte River in Commerce City near York St. and 64th Ave.
