Funding

Building Sand Creek Regional Greenway is a complex and expensive project. It will cost an estimated $35 million for the entire project. To date we've raised over $12 million; this funding comes from a variety of public and private sources.

We expect that by the time the project is finished, the three partner cities will fund 25% - 33% of the costs; other public funds will provide approximately 35% of the costs, with the remaining 33% to 40% coming from private foundations, businesses and individuals.
