Beavers are THRIVING along the Sand Creek Greenway! Join SCRGP staff and Park Rangers from Adams County and Commerce City for a program all about beavers. Feel a real beaver pelt, see examples of signs they leave behind, and hear from experts on these wonderful animals that live along the Sand Creek. We will be taking a sunset walk to explore the wetlands, and identify signs of animal activity. This is the perfect time of day to hopefully catch a glimpse of beavers and other animals, while admiring the changing leaves during the peak of fall.
